One woman quilt show

What a great way to spend an afternoon. I know that you brightened their day and they blessed yours. I just kept trying to "will you" to turn the scrappy C&W around, so I could see it. Everyone in the pictures seemed to be admiring it.

Karla,
You could make a bit of pocket money by doing the same show for guilds and small quilting groups in your sourounding area. As the program chair for two different guilds I booked many such shows. Quilters of all levels love to see other people's work. If you are in a reasonable distance of central Maryland I can get you a couple of gigs.

Karla, you are such a wonderful person! You just get more and more awesome every day. How happy you made all these precious folks. I bet thier memories were just soaring with happy memories of quilts and quilting from their own lives. How cool is it that the one very sweet lady still has the baby quilt her mama made for her. What a beautiful day, and thanks for sharing it with us. Big Hugs Karla!!

You know--all of you could do this, too!! It's so easy! Just think of the joy quilters' could spread--the smiles we could make. :D
And your kind words are really making ME smile... I just feel a bit guilty to be getting all this attention... I mostly wanted to convince others to do it!
Oh gosh, mpspeedy--there are enough places to go around here--and my time is limited now. Thank you though. :D This is my last week home 100%--the following week I have 78 boxes to unpack and fit into a new classroom... and a new cycle begins. School doesn't start until after Labor Day--but it'll take me 20+ hours to get that room just the way I want it.
