Thank you for all of the pictures, I really enjoyed them. You do such beautiful quilts. So many people forget about our older generations, they can teach us so much. Most people don't want to take the time to learn from them.
You are truly a very remarkable and talented person.
Again thank you both for being such kindhearted women.

This was a great ideal. I'm in the process of TRYING to make lap quilts for my sisters' Sr. Center. I thought I only needed 8, but now am up to 12. This maybe more than I can handle, but will try anyway.
You have given me an ideal for the day I present them their on quilts. I'll try and do a show of my quilts and wall hangings.
thanks!!!!

Karla, what a wonderful idea ! Sure looks as if some of those folks were really enjoying themselves....and so interested. maybe one -or more- of them will become quilters, thanks to you. My Mom , 88, lives in a retirement home and works on her quilts every day; that hobby is a blessing for her, keeps both her mind and her fingers nimble ....

What a wonderful thing to do. I worked as an Activity Director in a nursing home and it was so very hard to find activities designed to keep the residents interest. I wish I had thought of this.
It's also a wonderful idea to have some "for sale" items. Many are homebound and unable to get out to buy gifts for family and friends. This was a great opportunity. I would have Avon ladies come in and the women went wild buying cosmetics. I wish I quilted back then and knew of someone as thoughtful as you are.
