    It is going to be a fabulous quilt when you finish it. Your Mom is doing a spectacular job of teaching you to do embroidery work. I still have fond memories of my Mom teaching me embroidery when I was 6. You will always treasure your time together.

    Some things I draw on first as I still need lines to follow. Yes the stitching around each piece is also by hand, right now to me that is the easiest to do. I used whatever shiny fabric I could find, I know it's not silk, can't afford that.
