This pattern has 14 layout options for a very simple
block. Here is the first one. I am working on another layout before I put the pattern aside. It definitely needs a good contrast in fabrics

I really like the layout. If there's 14 different ways to lay it out, how did you ever decide?

I like the layout too. This is a visually great contrast. Nice work!

Congrats on making this lovely quilt! I can see the fabric contrast is important to see the pattern. Do they show any prints being used in this pattern? Just curious. I will look forward to seeing the other quilt patterns using this block. Have fun playing with your blocks!

It reminds me of a Doug Leko design from Antler Quilts for some reason. He designs quilts that can be laid out several ways. Is this one of his? I can see this as red and white for me, or possibly a denim blue and cream. So many different possibilities!

Where did you find this pattern? I would love to see the other layouts.

I ordered this pattern from Material Girlfriends. If you google Open Options quilt you can find pictures of different layouts. It calls for 6 or 7, 1/3 yd cuts. But as I am using stash, this next one is only 2 fabrics (light and dark)

Isn’t this design based on GE Design for her Kira quilt?
