They are both nice, but you said she likes earthy. I think the sunset one is more earthy than the tulips.

ooh thats a tough decision to make. I like them both! I think I would choose the first one as you can do lots of quilting in the cream areas. But then I love the quilting part of the whole quilt making process. Both are beautiful designs!

My favorite is the Tulip one, I'm very partial to log cabin style quilts.
