I'm ready to put this together but would like your opinions on what version you like best.

I prefer the royal blue inner border. The red one kind of gets lost in the braid.

I like the second one better, it seems to "flow" more.

I would complete the middle before it gets any larger. I do some machine applique and decorative quilting, ect and the smaller the piece is, the easier it moves across the bed of the machine. Having said that I have machine quilted a queen size quilt with feather wreaths on my domestic Bernina with a 7" throat. Once, never to be done by me again.

I like the blue inner border the best.

Personally, the blue. But both would look fine.

I like the first one also. The blue frames the middle nicely.

Yes I do want to get the horses on before I put it all together..thanks for the tip! I'm nervous about that part anyway. The blue is what i had picked and then I started second guessing myself.

I like the blue and wouldn't add another pieced border to the braid. If I did another border I would do a solid or a soft print.

Blue is the best. The red does get lost.

do you mean the blue and brown blocks? They're the signature blocks.....after those I will add the binding.
