Wouldn't the thong quilt be a string quilt?
If when she is sewing a fly gets into the block would it be a flytrap quilt?
Too bad she wasn't just using one underwear and then it would be a one undie wonder............ :XD:
enough of the awful jokes, I think the block looks underful, I mean wonderful.
I truly do mean it... dbeck's sis damayer

that would be a Shoo Fly quilt. ;-)

years ago i thought about collecting my son's worn out boxers to use for a quilt. i was going to call it "Boxer Rebellion".

i should have followed through. it would have made been so much fun to show off to the girls he brought home. what a great way to test worthiness in a prospective DIL. any who get the joke would be "keepers". those who said, "Eeeeeeeuuuw" just don't belong in this family.

    :XD:

mlqs quilted three for a customer. They were made out of their uncles underwear. He would not wear the same pair twice so his mother would wash them and packe them in 55 gal plastic drums. After he died they made them into quilts for all of the neices. They call them Uncle ??? underwear quilts LOL
