I used to love tatting, learnt it as a child and was forever being told of at School as I would do it under my desk at classes Love your idea, I have used applique on many an occasion to cover a oopsy.

So nice to see some tatting, my maternal grandmother did tatting for years & I have missed seeing it so thank you for posting your creation.

That's how I got started sewing a tiny heart on everything that I make. I made a quilt for friends' 50th anniversary and when I received it back from the long-armer, there was a tiny rip right along the outer border.......something I am sure that she never even noticed. I didn't want to say anything but had to do something before giving it as a gift.
A little heart covered it beautifully and all thought it was so clever to put a heart on an anniversary quilt.

I now place a heart on whatever I do...and being my birthday is Valentine's day, it has become my logo.
