Thanks everyone! I did Bonnie's Mystery last year and could not wait for this years Mystery. I just love doing these quilts. They are such fun and you know they will look spectacular when they are done! I have followed Bonnie's colors both years. I'm kind of afraid to branch off on my own, not knowing what they will look like when done.

bonnie's quilt patterns are a bit too traditional for my taste but i am really getting excited to see the great colors, fabrics & work this group is putting in on this mystery quilt. i cannot wait to see your finished products.

there is one blogger from bonnie's site that is using all modern prints (think amy butler, robert kaufman) for her quilt. i would love to see her finished product to see if the fabrics themselves can bring a different look to a traditional pattern. if so, i will more than likely give the next bonnie mystery quilt a try.

I think some modern fabrics would definitely bring a different look to a traditional pattern. It is amazing what fabric selection can do to a quilt pattern. I would love to see it also.

    Default Orca Bay Blocks

I've created a BLOG - because I needed to, to link my images to quiltvillle, http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2011/...up-part-5.html Bonnie wants a blog posted. I'm learning as I go with that, but it sure is interesting to see everyone elses site! lots of additional links within each one. You really can get lost!
