I made one too for my sister for Christmas, she loved it!!! The directions were messed up so I just measured each step before cutting my material I think it came out nice. I forgot to take pics of the back and the label. Hope you like it. Sorry it's on it side.

Can you tell me what adjustments need to be made on this quilt? Also how big does the pattern make the quilt? Thanks so much...love your quilts

QUOTE=feline fanatic;6016998]Last year for Mother's day I made my mom a twilight star table topper featuring this crane fabric (pictured here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...r-t189285.html )

I had originally planned to back the topper with the crane fabric but it was so beautiful I couldn't bring myself to. So I saved it to make a quilt. So this year for Mother's Day, my mom is going to get this sofa quilt to match her table topper! The pattern is Oriental Garden, found here: http://spotlight.com.au/inspiration/...-garden-quilt/

Be warned, the cutting directions for the outer border are incorrect as is the cutting directions to a couple of the sashing strips (green parts in my quilt). Also they have you cut way too many block border strips (in my quilt it is red) So thoroughly re draft and do the math if you decide to make this one. Or you can PM me for corrections in the border lengths. I ended up just putting in some filler pieces where needed.

I free hand quilted this and did ruler work with my Innova 26" LA. I used 4 different threads and W&N batting. First pic is the whole quilt, I took with flash so you can still see my chalk registration marks for the block quilt design and the center line for the border to properly place my undulating feather.

And of course I must post a few gratuitous back shots.
