Oriental Quilt Re-Done!!

Some of you might remember this post of mine from last week.

Well the longer this quilt sat around, the more I came to dislike my choice of backing and binding. I used red and black flannel backed satin. The more I looked at it, the more I thought it looked cheap. Soooooo.. I ripped the stitch in the ditch out and took off the red border and black backing. I replaced it with cotton fabrics and am so glad I did. I really like this look better! Just in time, leaving for Michigan tomorrow and it is a gift!!!
