Beautiful quilt! I especially like the fans around the edges.

Question: What is the fan pattern called? Where do I learn to do that? My latest obsession is Dresden.

I took two pieces of fabric and sewed them together and then laid a dresden ruler in the middle and cut out. I used the 5 inch mark for the petal to make the fan. I only used half the circle for the center.

There is a ruler that's called EZ Easy Dresden that you can get at any quilt shop or JoAnn Fabrics. It has very good instructions. You can also go on YouTube and type in Dresden tutorial and you can find out how to make them.
