    Quiltingnonie,
This has probably been asked already, but in looking at your avatar, I see a quilt that looks like the "Three Sisters" mountains from Sisters, Oregon. Am I right?

YES, you are! The pattern is called "Sisterscape" designed as the 2006 Commemorative quilt for the Sisters Quilt Show. The original pattern called for floral fabrics all through the center NY Beauty blocks. However, I chose to make each block a different colorway..."color wheels" I called them. It was a challenge, but worth every agony as it was my wedding gift to my daughter...and they LOVE it!

Not sure I would go that far..... One thing I did learn: it really is more difficult to design a quilt than one would think. (reason why I have random strips here and there in the quilt!)
