    I agree that it's a beautiful mix-up. Adds just the right separation between bed and pillow. I have found many times if I didn't tell my mistake no one but me sees it. I think (for me) sometimes we try to follow the rules too closely and loose our creativity.

    Beautifully done. I actually think the shams are better this way. If they were the same blocks, it would all just blend in. This way, they compliment the quilt and stand nicely on their own at the same time.
