    This is a quilt I completed last spring. Decided to make pillow shams BUT pieced the WRONG pieces so the shams don't match the quilt. Can't redo as I used the last of my fabric & cannot get any more. :( Oh well - My husband thinks it looks great. Such a sweetie he is! Better pay more attention next time. The pattern is Orion's Star by Eleanor Burns.

    Actually, your husband's right! Beautiful and the contrast is nice between the shams and the quilt.

    I think it is one of those wonderful mix-ups! Any decorator would love to have such pizzazz to a room .. and you did it!

    I think it looks awesome!! By the shams not being matchy matchy they don't blend in and show up nicely. Job well done :D
