    You have just given me an idea for next year to do for my Ladies, Let's Gather Sewing/Quilt Group at the church. I always like to have something special to give them for our end of the year Christmas luncheon. Thanks for sharing!!!

    That is so pretty. Last year I made the same type, but I used skinny strips of batik fabric that I had saved from squaring up the edges. I couldn't bare to throw them out. Gave them to my quilt group and family members. They were a big hit also.

    Michael's usually has them on clearance after the holidays and sometimes even before. That is just a really cute idea. Could probably make one a year with scraps from that year and put the year on it. It would bring back the memories of those quilts by the year. Even if you gave them away you would have a piece or two of the fabric to remember them. you are so clever.
