Oh My! those are so beautiful! I love the border fabric and all of it. Just stunning! I love the contrast of the white fabric with the darks. Didn't know SAS was or could be paper pieced.

Very, very nice QE--love the color choices, the execution is awesome, and the quilting just adds so much to the pieces. I'm sorry your friend's turned out so ugly she rolled it into a ball and threw it in The Box. That was a lot of work and you should be very proud. What a lovely grouping that makes. Pat yourself on the back!!!

Thanks Everyone ... I am happy to have you enjoy it too and appreciate your comments very much!

    FelineFanatic ...
WOWSERS back, to you!!!!!!!!!! .... a compliment from YOU the pro is beyond belief!!! I admire your work SO much and am always green with envy when I see it. You now have be blushing! Yes, that red leaf fabric and the rest of that line are real winners!

CraftyPat ... I do have a lot of Christmas stuff, but it is such a short season, that something I put this much work into, I really do like to keep it a little more neutral, so it can be enjoyed much longer.

PollyTink ... PPing SAS, sure makes it a lot easier and keeps your pieces bang on their shape!1

JanRN ... Thanks too! I keep hoping that my friend will unball it, and finish it off. Sadly, we are our own worse critics, and sometimes need a nudge back, to finish it off!

Your wall hanging is gorgeous and I love the look of the metallic thread in the quilting. Bravo. Your tablerunner was a great practice piece. I like practicing on an actual item too, rather than a muslin sandwich. Yours was definitely a success, all around!

I love your wall hanging. It reminds me of Persian minarets and castle domes. I never thought of using an SAS block in such a way. Beautiful!
