    Default Orphan Block into FMQ Cubic Table Mat

    Here are some pics of what I did with an orphan block this morning. It measures about 12" across and I plan to use it under a flower pot in the dining room. I used the instructions in one of my OBW books to learn how to do the cube blocks and also have a small quilt hanging on the wall that this block was an experimental piece for

    This started as an "orphan" hexagon block I've had pinned up on my wall for awhile. This morning I added the black border, FMQ'd it, and added binding.
