    Default Orphan Butterfly Blocks

I have been looking at my orphan blocks this week while taking breaks from finishing the quilting on my Woodland Creatures quilt and this is what I did with some of them yesterday.

I made the center block especially for this quilt and the wings will show up better when I get it quilted. The corner blocks were left over from a baby quilt, the two borders were left over from a table topper, and the black sashing and binding were also in the scrap stash. It really makes me feel frugal when I use some of my left overs, or left behinds, or whatever.
