    Besides going to the NJ quilt Expo, I managed to get some more quilting done. Or piecing. :)

    made my own 3" tumbler block template. This will be a table runner

    Digging in only 1 baggie of 1.5 and 1" strips. This is a start to my scrap

    Like the tumbler. Going to have to try one of those (right after the 100 or so things on my TO DO list)

    Love the scrappy start. The tumbler is pretty too. Keep posting your progress.

    love the tumbler, would love to know how you made your own template. Is the large ens 3 inches and the small 2"?

    Yep. I used graph paper, and took a ruler from point to point that I wanted, added a seam allowance (I used the 4 square to an inch graph paper so I know each square is .25"), then traced it onto the clear plastic template, cut it out and traced it onto the fabric.
