Default Otters and Puffins and Orcas - Oh My!

My daughter works on a day cruise boat in Alaska every summer. I made this quilt to remind her of her Alaskan adventures. My friend Dixie quilted it on her Statler Stitcher with a wave pattern, and in one corner we put a ship's wheel, and in the other an anchor. I surprised her with it when she came home. She loved it - she cried when she saw it!

What a great design to show off your fabrics. The colors are so gorgeous. This was such a thoughtful wonderful thing to do for your daughter. I can see why she cried. Thoughtful and gorgeous is a great combination.
