    Ladies you can do Joanns block like Bettlove or put various colors of biege fabrics. They need to be very light fabrics so they will pop out among the darks and mediums.

    I'm going to start cutting out some blocks tomorrow and then I'll drag my machine out to sew a couple at a time. I absolutely cannot wait until I can have a sewing room! No more dining room table.

    To stick my nose in... I read this post and can't believe it.

    Y'all are crazy.

    Elizabeth, send what you have. I read it.. "It doesn't matter what the center block color is." You can't change the rules later. Period. Red is the traditional center block for that square.. and my next barn raising is going to be intense yellow and orange center....

    I rip for no one.

    We are in northern CA between Redding and Chico The upper Sacramento valley with lots of foothills and fires.
