Hello, all. I am still here, it has been a hectic summer, we are on our third set of visitors & we went to WI. We have a family reunion the weekend after Labor Day & I have a quilt I am finishing for that then I will knock out all my blocks. Like bebe I work well under pressure!
I am chomping at the bit to get started on the blocks.

Oh my Barb that must be very difficult. Perhaps when you premake his meals you could put different things in different containers, for instance tupperware small rounds are soup, and rectangular glad has lazana? I know different kinds of containters "feel different" either in the type of the plastic or with the name imprinted on the top.

I don't know what your collection of plastic looks like, though I just learned that while the deli select lunch meat has glad emblazed on the top, the Butterball slices have Butterball indented on the top. Would something like that help?
DH has from time to time warmed up left overs in Tupperware and like containers but unfortunately I didn't have any left overs in the freezer or time to pre cook any before we had to go up north. I am now getting a good selection ready in case I have to go back up. Our daughter is willing to come and help him but she is busy taking care of her MIL who was recently widowed and Pam has a lot on her plate right now. I am putting raised coding dots on the containers so he can feel what is inside and this should make it easier on him. We are also doing some trial runs so he might have an easier time when he is alone.

Barb, we did the same with my sister in law.
We would put "tags" on the arches of her shoes that she could feel the difference and sameness with. Many times she would leave the house with mismatched shoes. Silly girl! :)
She loves the Glad containers since they have an embossed seal on them and we had gone and bought her a braille embossing machine. Would make labels for her clothes and food for her. That worked wonders! She is a very independent woman and doesn't like to take help from anyone. Makes me mad at times. We would make recordings for her so she could remember where things were.

I actually told her once that I wrote her a note and left it on her counter. If she needed "help", she could just go and read it. lol I thought I was going to be caned to death! So glad I'm the favorite sister in law! lmao

Well, I am hoping I have some time to go to my sewing room and stay. Our son was married on Friday night and last of guest left today. I have purchased fabric and am dying to get started on all the blocks. Hope to have a couple to post in the next couple of days. Denise

The wedding was great, had little bumps like everything in life, but we had a wonderful time.
