Are thes blocks suppose to be kittens or butterflies.
I guess I did not understand. I just thought it was suppose to be difficult>>>

salsaquilter, your block is wonderful and I'm sure it would be a challenge for me although it looks like you have "tamed the beast". This thread though is for a block SWAP that several of us have signed up for. Hopefully you can join us next time ...your work is beautiful and I would love to swap blocks with you!

Once again salsaquilter your work is amazing. Is there any particular reason you choose to hand piece it? From what you have done, I can see just how lovely it will be!

All of the blocks are really great! So much really fabulous work.
I feel like I am behind as all I've had time to do so far is print out the patterns!!! I am finishing up a quilt for my MIL & want it finished by the fourth of July because my BIL is coming for a visit then & can deliver it to my MIL when he goes home. Then I will get started on my blocks. I am really anxious to get started!

I have a question for Annmarie:

You're number 7 on our list and this is what it says:

    7. Annmarie
Block: Butterfly Blocks/ Any pattern and size
    Colors: Any color choice
** You may paperpiece, appliqué, embroidery, or piece
My question is, can I give you an embellished, crazy patch embroidered butterfly block? I have about fifteen of them already made up that I never got around to using in a previous project.

If I recall correctly, it's a twelve inch block. I could put a border on it that would even it out to 12.5".

Cordelia you can give Anmarie any size block and whatever you have. She wants to make a quilt with all kinds of butterflies.

Oh, it does say any pattern and size. I totally glossed over that. I had in my head it was 12.5".

    That's easy then.
