How does that work in terms of timing and availability?
    General info on pricing?
Yes people bring us their quilt tops and sometimes the lining and batting. I have been furnishing a lot of the lining and batting as I purchase in quanity from Marshall Dry Goods. Our basic prices are 45 to 95 dollars for sizes throws to king, and if need be we do add more for more detailed quilting. We usually stay about 2 months behind on our quilts but if someone needs one done in a hurry we work it in as soon as we can. We have enough room to put in three quilts at the time.

Hey, Betty! When I first saw Atlanta, TX and started reading it sounded a lot like the Oak Grove Community Quilting Club. I thought someone there had joined the QB. LOL! I didn't realize your group also used an old school house. It looks like I may need to visit your group sometime...especially if there's food involved!!! Yum, Yum!!

That quilt you guys are working on is absolutely beautiful. Did someone in the group make it or is it one you are doing for hire?

I machine piece and quilt most of my quilts but love hand pieced and hand quilted quilts. I had one last year that I was hoping to get hand quilted at Oak Grove, but their waiting list was over a year. Next time I have one I want hand quilted I may check with you to see if you can put me on the schedule.
