I passed on the cabinet but the machine has the bentwood box included.
Evidently these are a dime a dozen but I tell ya, I am so excited to have it! ESPECIALLY since i'm sewing now!

She had about 8 or so? She had one that she used during the war sewing "parachutes" and used it for actual piecing and quilting. She spent many an hour on that machine. Nobody has a clue what happened to it as it was huge! I believe when she lived in CA, she may have gotten rid of it. When she became ill, she returned to MI and lived till the ripe age of 87.

She had a model 66 treadle machine that my younger sister and brothers used and actually quilted <snicker> on. When I called...it brought back some great memories for them! That machine is long gone as a "former" member threw it in the trash. What a jerk!

Anyhoot...I made phone calls yesterday to see what machines are where. It appears that 2 are left (not counting the one I have) and I don't have those models yet. I still have all the quilt tops she made and were in a box when she passed. Those will soon be long armed. My kids, who are in their 30's still have their baby quilts! I'm not sure what you call it but her type of quilting had no rhyme or reason in design other than squares/triangles and colors. I will have to dig out a few tops and post some pictures. She passed back in the early 90's.

All of it is priceless.....truly priceless!
