Beautiful bag. When we travel I also leave the big suitcase in the van and just take a small bag into the motel.

Fabric choices are awesome. Thanks for the pattern info. The first time I used an overnight bag for a road trip, in addition to my large bag, my husband questioned my sanity. When I told him why, he thought I was brilliant!! We have been taking long road trips only since he retired 5 years ago.

Wow, so pretty and so roomy. Much more comfy and fun to carry than a big ol' suitcase. And I bet it makes a nice pillow in a pinch for sleepy grandkids too!
