    Default Owl Baby Quilt

    I'm having a couple of days off, so I'm sewing And I just completed this baby quilt I wanted to share with you:

    Oh, that is just too cute! Love how the way you positioned the eyes give each owl such personality. (I'm the one in the middle LOL!)

    sew adorable. is that a QAYG? it looks like the owl was appliqued after the quilting?

    No, I did the appliqué first and then quilted around it (just leaving out the appliqué for the quilting pattern). I'm pretty much a beginner, so I'm not sure if that's the right method. I've just seen a picture of a similar owl online and thought it was cute, so I wanted to make something with owls. Never done appliqué before...
