Default Paducah, Kentucky fall AQS show 2017

Anyone else attend the fall quilt show at Paducah? Beautiful weather today and I enjoyed it. Wasn't crowded, not as many vendors compared to the April show! Wanted to share this adorable picure. Perhaps we should all decorate our trees this way..

great tree ornaments! So when you say not as many vendors, was it still well vendored? (not sure that's a word, until now) I really want to attend Paducah but the Spring show seems pretty overwhelming. Plus the DH and I are talking about doing a Bourbon Trail tour around Lexington either next Fall or 2019. So thought we could roll these two stops together.

There were alot of vendors, just a lot smaller show than the spring. Easier to move around to since it wasn't crowded. of course shuttles everywhere which was cool. Lots of food booths too. I am thinking it is probably50- 60% less the spring, but well worth attending and I expect it will be larger yet for next year as they build up the fall show. Hope you get a chance to go. The Quilt Museum is awesome and lots of stores downtown. Also House of Paducah is always worth going to. Also, there is free parking around if you look.

That's a cute idea. I was planning on going but cancelled the hotel and decided against going due to a lot going on this month. Thanks for the update on the show. I was wondering how it compared to the Spring one.

The voting closed for the Best of Show winner yesterday. Does anyone know which quilt won?

Did you take pictures of the quilts? Please post what you have.

I can't go to a quilt show and NOT take pics...

I went and thoroughly enjoyed it! There were plenty of great vendors (not as many as the spring show, but that's ok) and I managed to spend a good bit of money. Quilts were beautiful, but my favorite part of all is that we were able to walk around and shop without being bumped, crowded, blocked, etc. I will probably go to the fall show next year instead of the spring show! I was able to spend more time in the booths that interested me, get information and talk to the vendors than during the spring show.
