Ok ladies and gents, I have cut all the strips for a quilt called Paint by number in the August 2007 American Patchwork magazine. This will be for my oldest daughter as a wedding present, not yet engaged , but probably soon. She loved the pattern when she saw it and it will e a surprise for her. This is the layout of the strips that I have-does it look ok to you. There are supposed to be 28 strips , but I ended up with 29.

Fabulous quilt! Your fab choices look perfect to me. Please post pics as you progress. I love bargello quilts but don't have the nerve to try one yet.

Lovely. So pretty. I love those bargello quilts but they look very intimidating.
