Painter's Canvas Drop Cloth Morphs into Quilted Rug
#32
That is such a cool idea!!! You can paint them, quilt them with funky designs, used colored thread on them so they stand out...oh goodness. I think they would last a long time with the canvas. You could use denim also to change it up...or maybe even home dec fabric(I might try that first, I have a bunch and it will coordinate with my kitchen perfectly).

Clever and beautiful! I love the idea of getting a used one....which then opens up a whole lot of possibilites for rugs/wall hangings with a fantastic modern art feel. Hmmm, must speak to my nephew who is just finishing his apprenticeship in painting and decorating.....

Thats pretty ingenious and looks great. It would be toooooo fun for kids to be able to actually paint on it and make a special rug for their rooms!!! This opens the door to many many fun ideas! You've now inspired me!! Thanks...

Great job and great idea! Brings me to a few years back when I purchased a HUGE package of painter's canvas and made slipcovers for my daughter's sofa and two chairs! She's still using them - they launder beautifully and get softer with wear!
