    Thanks for the compliments ladies.

    I like the more random look of this type block work than the sashed and all the same size block t-shirt quilts. Originally I did this block type because my first t-shirt quilt was for my daughter and the shirts ranged from a 3T to a kid's medium. I had to be creative when designing the blocks because of the huge difference in the shirts.

    I just realized that you can see my template frame in the pics. I used painter's tape to mark the size of the first top I made to make sizing the second one correctly easier for me. I laid the first one out on a bed in the guest room near my craft room. It was way easier just marking the size on the floor of my craft room. I will definitely be using this little trick again in the future.

    I got the borders attached to both quilt tops and the backing pieced for one of the them and then realized I forgot to buy thread to use to quilt them. Oh well, it's always something. I picked up thread this afternoon so tomorrow I will get the second back together and get the sandwiches made. I will start with the quilting I will do on the DSM.
