    I too am a "just do it" kinda gal.....I refer to myself as a "rebel quilter" as I seldom follow all the directions for a pattern. Your quilt is beautiful..the colors are like jewel tones. Good luck with your quilting....and great job so far.

    the quilt you made looks rich and warm. my husband has just beaten pancreatic cancer and all the wraps and blankets and prayers and love made a tremendous difference. my ds made a beautiful knit blanket for his lap and he used it the most, it was saturated with love and caring. i wish your niece the very best and add her to my list of special people in my thoughts.
