    The pattern had templates and I made a paper pieced pattern from it. I almost have it right. Two of the points didn't turn out just right so I'll have to figure that out. This is my first time converting a pattern so I am pretty happy that it went this well. Back to the drawing board......

    i'm impressed that you could make the paper piecing out of the templates - very nice job!

    That is beautiful! Where did you get the pattern. Since it's blue and white, I"m hoping that it will be for the star block exchange! It's really nice!!

    Thought of that but this is only a 10 inch block. I am looking at one that is 12. I thought something like it would be good for the exchange too.

    If you have access to EQ you can draw in the block and it will automatically do the paper piecing pattern for you--in any size you want. It's a beautiful block--should make a striking quilt!
