Looks like a good time was had by all. The projects all look beautiful. My mariners' compass is still waiting to be completed, I think there's just one ray to be added. Just one of my works in progress ;)

The book which I completely rely on is "Mariner's Compass: Setting a New Course" by Judy Mathieson. It is current and is probably available at Amazon or your LQS. Amazon might even have it "used" which doesn't mean USED. I have gotten several used books from them (and Hastings) and I could find nothing used about them!

This pattern is called a 16-Point Starflower.

Alabama isn't THAT far away! :) Just cross Mississippi and Texas (that alone is a full day of driving), take a right at Midland, a left at Andrews, another right at Eunice and before you know it, you're here!

Oh yes, and I loved the mariner's compasses, sorry to be rude.  :-(
That's not rude. The next exhibit will be in June/July 2011. It's an annual thing.

No, I just meant sorry to be rude to your group by not complimenting your group's blocks first before I changed the subject. Their work is lovely.

Thanks for the note of next year's exhibit.
I know you told us information about it some time ago,
but can you re-point me to any link about the show?

You must be an excellent teacher! All your pupils' blocks look so well done.
