I think it depends on how big you want the quilt. Perhaps you would like the larger better without the corner blocks? JMO...

I like the smaller border. The cornerstones detract from the beauty of the design in the first picture. I would use a narrow strip of a very deep burgandy that's not in the quilt first to contain the color in the quilt, then the one shown. Using a fabric from the quilt as a border without a framing strip allows the color to bleed visually.

Beautiful quilt. I like the pattern and colors.

beautiful quilt, bothe borders look nice, but I prefer the 1st pic with wider border

beautiful quilt! Both choices would look great but I prefer the one without the corner blocks.

I prefer the smaller border with no corner squares. Very nice quilt either way.
