    I think it depends on how big you want the quilt. Perhaps you would like the larger better without the corner blocks? JMO...

    I like the smaller border. The cornerstones detract from the beauty of the design in the first picture. I would use a narrow strip of a very deep burgandy that's not in the quilt first to contain the color in the quilt, then the one shown. Using a fabric from the quilt as a border without a framing strip allows the color to bleed visually.

    Beautiful quilt. I like the pattern and colors.

    Love the quilt! I like the 6" border. I think it frames" better.

    I prefer the smaller border with no corner squares. Very nice quilt either way.
