    Default Parrots o my!

    So my daughter has a parrot so when i saw this Elizabeth Hartman kit i decided to do it. Boy did i soon realize you have to be very organized as I'm NOT! lol
    I'm only on 12 would like to have done by sept for fair or oct for guild show but takes me a long time.I changed bground to black n perch to white.

    Those parrots are ADORABLE! Respect!

    And sometimes find it helps if I think about difficult projects as "exercises". You're not making a quilt block - you are doing an exercise to improve your skills in a particular technique.

    So cute! I did Elizabeth Hartman's Dogs in Sweaters quilt. They are a challenge.

    I've done several EH patterns and you are correct about organization being the clue to success. The sewing isn't hard once you've achieved that. Looks like you are an expert though and your daughter will be in love with your thoughtful gift.

    Those are adorable! They look like a lot of fun to make. Are they tricky to make or pretty straight forward?
