    Default Partners Quiltober 2023

I participated in the Nine Patch a Day group again in October and have my community quilt now finished, it is all scrappy. Just had to piece a small section for the backing.

    Great way to make a quilt. I could do a 9P a day 😊

What a great idea. Most of us could easily do that. Love how yours came out!

Well the group is called Nine Patch a Day with Karen Montgomery, but it has morphed and she creates new patterns each time. This one she called Partners, and I think in March she is starting a year long Civil War Sampler, but I have too many projects on the go to start another one.

Great quilt and a fabulous backing. It looks really good. You did really well to line those squares up perfectly with the quilting on the front.

I had to check my picture to see what you meant about lining the quilting up on the backing squares….. that was definitely a fluke! You can faintly see the stitching in the other direction is definitely not lining up with anything. 😜

Nice job using up some of the scraps you have. I really need to plan one for myself too.
