Getting ready to start my center. What is the recommended size? And are borders regulated as to size?

You guys are just the best. So this package comes today and by the name I knew what it was so while my granddaughter was upstairs my husband put on the monkey hat I should have taken a picture. Then we call her down I had put the monkey top open on the chair and she sees it. She was so excited and kept saying this is awesome she wrapped herself up in it. I told her that her mother and I needed to finish the back. She hugged on it for 1/2 hour. All the gifts you guys put in with it was so sweet. She has the pillowcase on her pillow and is sleeping with it tonight. Thank you so much for making this so special for her.

Here is the size borders on my blog. The problem is now there are more of us if it gets sent to everyone it will be huge so when we get to the larger size borders we can make them smaller to prevent it from becoming a tent.LOL
As for those who are sending 2 smaller ones we can add any size because they go to less people. As to your center 18x18 or a little larger would be good.some have sent panels thats fine what we may have to do is if its getting to big we can pm the person or they can post how big they want the end result to be and if we need to skip someone we can.

Judy I'm so glad you got it can't wait to see how you quilt it. I have found my diamond is so awesome for the large size sewing I'm anxious to do some free motion quilting on it.

It sounds like that monkey quilt will be well loved! So happy to hear that she really likes it. Would love to see it when it's done and in her arms.

I am taking a five day, 6 hours a day machine quilting class at our LQS here in Wickenburg and can't wait to get started. Then, hopefully when I'm done I will be able to quilt this quilt myself. I'm hoping 30 hours of lessons should teach me something.<label for="rb_iconid_11"></label><label for="rb_iconid_11"></label><label for="rb_iconid_11"></label>
