Here is the border for Carsey Patriotic Eagle. Since my Viking Machine is headed to matinece to get the embroidery module fixed up, I got out the Bernina out and worked on piecing again.
    Here are some pics.

Thanks Deb. Since I can't embroider right now, I might as well tackle the piecing LOL.

    Robert,
Since the embroidery machine is out for a "SPA DAY" why not piece together all those blocks from the block swaps to make centers to be sent out next round. I think I am going to try to do that to get some of my UFO's under control. There is always a good cause to donate them to somewhere along the line. EMT's, Nursing homes, Kid's Camp's, you name it. Wounded Warriors is always looking for quilts no larger than 55 X 75 for the fighting men returning home from battle. It just seems like such a great way to say "THANK YOU" to the men and women that have given so much for our country.

Good minds think alike. I have put together two of my swaps Christmas Dresden Plates and almost finished my Fan swap.
Also, finishing up Carsey's Eagle with the pieced eagle center stars. It takes me about 6 hours to do one side. I have been outof the piecing circle for a while. YIKES, but it's coming back.
I make quilts for the Quilts of Valor and now doing the quilts for Judy's kids camp with speical needs.
Cathy and I make baby quilts for your church family and present it to them when they have a baby dedication. We really love to do it.
    Thanks for the encouragement.
I sure want to be a rounded quilter, but as everyone know's Thread art and embroidery and Art quilts are my passion.
I'll post some pics soon as I get them done.
    All the best

And remember, when you finish one and it may not be exactly what you think is pretty or well designed, it will be appreciated by a blind person because they just want to be warm!

OK, what can we do to help you. You are always so fast to help others, what can we do for you. Cathy and I will be praying for you and that when you see the DOC, there will be no spot. God is in the job of miracles. We will be praying for you.
    All the best,

Second Border on Carsey's Eagle, it is looking better and better. I'm liking piecing again.
The piecing is looking better too. It's starting to come back.
