I love it! Very modern. Funny how modern quilts don't look so good without good quilting, but you made this one really special.

    Oh, how, how, how?!!!

Modern quilts call to me and, this one in particular, loudly. Every last thing about it is beautiful but, best of all, every bit of thinking in it is beautiful and the thinking matches, melds, and moves. Only very, very seldom have I seen or heard two artists in that complete sinc.

My eyestrain is being caused because I cannot see and, therefore, figure out how the orange/red inserts were achieved. I would like to play with the basic technique and see if, after a long time and many tries, I can do something, at the very least, competent with it.

    Help, please?

    Thanks,

    Pat

Thank you so much! I did not graph it out ahead of time. I just quilted in the framework (of the bricks). But while it was on the frame I did do some marking as I went along so I didn't get "tilted" if that makes sense. All of the filler designs of course were freehand and I just thought of them as I went along. No marking for those.
    I hope that helps.
