    No - there is no backing. If you will read all of the postings on this thread, you'll find a video that explains how to do this. I've also posted several pictures you can follow. Good luck.

    For these gentle curves, simply sew slowly - don't pin -- and use your fingers to keep moving the fabric edges together. This style generally requires that you trim off the ends cause they'll usually not meet.
