    Nice quilt pattern. If you didn't mind a few more squares, the tutorial on the Touch of Yellow quilt posted on the board would work.

    definitely wacky

    I'd do it as a one patch, either appliquing the corner small square or piecing the one-patch with 3 pieces.
    If you have a picture of the quilt, check the dimensions and then figure out the patch size.
