    Very pretty quilt, For baby shower gifts I usually make receiving blankets to wrap the quilt in. I wrap it like a diaper and use a diaper pin to keep it closed, then just tuck my card in.

    Great minds think alike! I do the same thing. I'll use up some of the extra binding and cinch the top of the pillow case with it. It makes it look real pretty. Lately I don't want to spend any money on a card, so with left over material, I'll make a card and pin it on the pillow case! I'll write on it with permanent craft markers. Ta da! Gift all completed!

    I haven't made things but I do. Sometimes wrap a parcel up in a fat quarter in the shade my friend uses a lot. I have also used those basket which come with flower displays to pack stuff I . Love your idea of a pillow I think I will make smaller cushions to pack tp in.
