Default Patches and Pinwheels scrappy quilt

I just finished this quilt called Patches and Pinwheels. I used all scraps for the dark fabrics and I won 4 one yard cuts of the background fabrics I used in the Fab Shop Hop. I kept them until the right pattern came along. The pattern said to strip piece the blocks but I could not do that since it was all just scraps so I did the math and cut 680 dark 2 inch squares and 680 light 2 inch squares and 168 of each the dark and light fabrics in 3 7/8 inch squares for the HST blocks. This quilt has everything and anything in it. I made it with the intention to use my scraps only to find they multiplied while I was working on it and I still can't get the lid on the box.....I may make another one!

Great job...like your fabric choices for the borders, they do not over ride the body of your quilt

Those scraps just multiply, only way I have ever kept them controlled is to give as many away as I can.
    Nice quilt !
