    Default Patches and Pinwheels

This quilt was made for my sister.

I decided it was time to use up some of the scraps I have been cutting into 2" squares. I am not a scrappy person though and had to make it a "controlled" scrappy, so this design fitted the bill.

The blocks are 4½" and I quilted it on my DSM.

First pic is my inspector just making sure I'm pinning that border properly.

For not liking scrappy you sure made a beautiful one. So can we count you in for another scrappy?

I still have more 2" squares to use and also a large assortment of strings. I have been using the squares as leaders and enders but perhaps I need to find something for the strings now.
