I love the red white and blue. Can you tell me the name of the pattern and who it is by?

I have been inspired so much by todays forum and know it will surely bring forth 2 or 3 more
stories' hiding inside my head, to become written out in the near future.

One had to do with fabric, PART of which ...., by some. might be considered junk, while others not so much....All surely have the imprint (fingerprints) on them of those that owned the fabric, and perhaps loved it.

Another had to do with a man who found a future, after a friend gave up his life for him.

Now you have plucked at my heartstrings with a picture that is astoundingly beautiful. I love it so much. I can hardly wait to see if you will post it, when it is complete. I am hoping you will PM me with a link if you can. I am wondering if I could use a pictue of it on a future story. I'd be glad to use your name as the creator.

How blessed I am to be one that is a member of this forum, and a 'writer as well'...albeit for the most part, published without pay. (smiling)

God Bless you for posting this patriotic star. I truly love it. I'm not good enough to ever be able to make such a quilt, but treasure its value and all it stands for. Thanks so much for posting it.

I'm the one that makes dolls to give away to very sick children. 155 so far (free) have been sent out. Most go to kids with cancer.

Serendipity? I was playing with the placement of the stars and the one on the left looked like the circle of the 13 stars in the original 13 colonies. Then I thought... put 13 stars around it. 13 stars divided by 4 corners = 3 stars per corner with one left over.

Then I realized it!! There are already 13 stars in my original design!! 12 around the outside and the one in the middle.

So the name is "13 Colonies"
