    very pretty!! I have the material all purchased also to make lap quilts for the Vets in our local nursing home. Just have to get started on them. My son is a retired navy and national guard vet who suffers with PTSD. He is the reason I decided to make some for them.

    Very lovely quilt, thank you very much for helping out. My quilt guild had the man and wife team that presents the quilts, and reads a note to each veteran at one of our meetings a couple of months ago.
    They were telling us every one loves the quilts, with all the love,work, time and expense that goes into the gift for them. Thanks again.

    I really like this quilt. I have a collection of patriotic fabrics, but not very much of some....This would be a great way to use the smaller pieces by doing random 9 patches. Thanks for the idea and for sharing your talents with the vets.
