Just my opinion, but I would leave the quilt as it is. As others have said, it is stylized or representational and is perfect as it is. Whatever your decision, I hope you feel comfortable with it and know you have made an outstanding quilt!

I think it's great just the way it is. It is not a actual flag, but an adapttion so I don't see a thing wrong with it!!!! I was in amazement and when I read your question I had to go back to look at it. Looks great! They will love it. Sandy in IN

That's why you see stars and stripes on clothing and such that are representative of the flag without actually being a flag. I recommend you keep the image as is. Thanks for sharing - this is a great patriotic quilt.

Is the star section too small in relation to the stripe section?

It does look a little odd, and I don't think it is the number of stars or stripes (I agree about that bit-it does not matter as it is a quilt!)

I think it is perfect the way it is. In a quilt, you don't have to be exact on any scale. Both quilts are wonderful as they are.

I love your flower girls quilt! The patriotic quilt is good as is. That is only a representation of the flag, not an actual flag....I wouldn't change anything!! :D
