    Default Patriotic quilt finished

I know... haven't been around in a long time. I moved 3 years ago and I've just been in a funk. My quilting machine wasn't set up again until just last week! I have made a few tops in the meantime but, couldn't do anything more. This quilt was on the frame when I moved so it was the first to go back on and get finished. When I bought my Innova machine my daughter was with me and she this quilt that was hanging in the shop so the owners gave the kit to her/me. The fabric is Stonehenge Stars and Stripes. I was looking at fabric currently available and found Live Free by Henry Glass that is coming out in April. It has panels and almost identical fabrics, including the red striped one. I'd like to make more of them.

I'm in the middle of hand sewing the binding on the back.

Love it! Thanks for quilting for our vets. I make QOV quilts too and would love a link to pattern.

The pattern came with the kit and I don't know where it is as I have a big closet full of bins of fabric and supplies stacked high. I did a search and found that it is Flight of the Eagle. I haven't found the actual pattern for purchase, just links to it that don't work for The Quilted Button. It's very, very simple really. Since I don't know where the pattern is I made it up in EQ8 real quick before I gave it to my daughter so I'd have the measurements. You can could figure it up that the large red-centered blocks are 12" and the center panel is 24" x 42".
